Withdrawal in the New Year. 

Conditions to skate in the greater Washington, D.C. area have not been ideal. The occasional pathetic dusting of snow, persistent morning frost, and over abundance of road salt build gnarly layers of dirty mush and create dangerously slick conditions; conditions only worsened by the fear-crippled east-coast drivers. We can only expect it to get worse with the arrival of the "Bomb Cyclone."

Yet, we strive to stay resourceful.

Oculoire thrives on aesthetic. The atmosphere derived from a simple playlist never fails to quell more aggressive [skate] withdrawals. Here is a playlist intended for warmer, more skate-worthy days, yet equally appropriate for the transition indoors for nightly excursions. Heavy influences from new and old, post punk and lo-fi to newer minimal wave.
