What's in the bag?
Today is the day. Our exhibit at Cross MacKenzie will be on display through to March 2, 2018. We couldn't be more excited to share our work and a part of our vision with everyone.
Rather than lug around my usual everyday carry through D.C.--typically includes my Peak Design 20L backpack, laptop, lenses, sony camera body, etc....--I've prepared a stripped down, minimal version of what I consider my daily essentials.
I've been slightly obsessed with Banks Journal's current line of clothing and was lucky enough to receive their handy tote with one of my orders. I usually stash this in my backpack in case I need to grab some quick groceries and occasionally as my regular catchall.
So what's in the it is bag?
Starting top left, going clockwise:
One of my favorite hats, that pretty much goes with everything I wear - leather, black and tan flat brim cap - Original Chuck
Yashica Electro 35 GS (Japan model) and an extra roll of Ilford 400
Pair of [cell phone display enabled] glove liners (gotta keep those finger tips protected)
A light scarf -- this one is from a trip to Guatemala
Current copy of Surfer
A notebook and a [purple] roller ball pen
Oculoire bandanna --good for advertising...and wiping down wet surfaces
Cheap pair of sunglasses--because I can't be trusted with a nice pair--soft carry bag that doubles as a lens cleaning cloth; Oculoire business cards featured beneath
Card case so I can spend that $$$$$
Team Manila lanyard and a metro card, for when I'm feeling too lazy to walk
A pair of Sony headphones
If you happen to catch me blasting that Banks Journal tote / Oculoire logos around town, don't hesitate to stop and say hi. Hoping to see plenty of our supporters at the gallery!
