oculoire playlist vol. 4
As I sit here (on the first day of spring) fleshing out a new playlist for upcoming shoots, snow is falling in drifts outside my window, blanketing the capital. Epitomized by the storm today, the transition from winter to spring is never a peaceful journey in the Mid-Atlantic; drastic fluctuations in temperature, deluges of rain (and occasionally snow), and biting winds can make the interim months leading to summer seem an endless torture of uncertainty. As I step out of the door each morning, grabbing my longboard feels like a crapshoot…will the wind hold off? will I end up skating through the rain? will the temperature drop even more by the time I head home again?
I may be alone in thinking this, but to me spring is the least enjoyable season due to its rampant unpredictability. So, to help you (and me) through the bi-polar weather of spring, here is a new aural journey to whisk us all away until summer finally arrives in the northern hemisphere.
